Myeik is a City located in southern part of Myanmar - Tanintharyi Division and it is also second Capital of Tanintharyi. City is also famous for its local products – Pearls, Bird Nest, Seafood, Rubber, Dried Shrimp Paste, Dried Squid Paste, and Dried Shrimps and Fish.
Most of the sea food factories producing products and exporting all around the world, are here in Myeik and its islands.
Salone, one of the native peoples who live in those island are gifted for dive in the ocean naturally without any help of oxygen or, else. They can live amazingly in the water couple of minutes without any oxygen. They are experts for searching Natural Pearls (mother of pearls) especially in the area of 85 miles from south Myeik City. That island is called Pa Lal Kyun ( Pearl Island).
Islands are so beautiful with mountain ranges ( some are 1,500ft above sea level), clear water ( transparent to see underneath), beautiful beaches with white sands, coral reefs, untouched lagoon and Caves, and especially for its un-touched wild natural life.
Myeik Archipelago still has a lot of virgin island. Therefore, most of the eco-tourists, divers, bird watchers and photographers come and experience the virgin beauty of these islands.
Apart from those natural beauties, Myeik and it surrounding area still has the ancient historical places – Monestry, Pagodas. Some ancient palm leaf inscriptions wrap with traditional weaving with alpha bet which will not be able to make in current days, are still exist in this region. However, some historical places are difficult to travel in short time due to roads condition.
Myitkyina is the capital city of Kachin State. It is situated at the southern side of Kachin State ( where famous Myanmar Jade were found). This beautiful city is well-known for its beautiful scenery of the confluence of river Maykha and Malikha where it born the Major Vein River of Myanmar – Ayeyarwaddy.
Ngapali Beach is one of the most beautiful beach in Myanmar. Ngapali is a name of village which located 4 miles distance from Thandwe town, Rakhine state. It is also have airport named Ma Zin which is 7 miles away from beach.
During Colonial time, it was called Nay Pa Li as it is as beautiful as Naples in Italy. Gradually, It is called Ngapali.
Ngwe Saung is located in Ayeyarwaddy Division, Pathein Distric. The name of village near the Beach is called Ngwe Saung. Therefore, the beach is also named Ngwe Saung. Beach is more than 11 miles long. Most of the native peoples are Rakhine Race.
Water is transperatly clear. Can see clearly, to the floor of sea at the depth of 10 to 15ft.
A Port City set south of Chindwin River confluence to Ayeyarwaddy River. It is just a few miles up streams from Bagan – Nyaung U.
The City is well known for its rich of Arts in weaving Cottons, Oil, and also for its Historical Acient Pagodas with full of Myanmar Fine Art in Carvings, the Legendary of Buddha Statue made out of scarced fine wood given as present from Thagar Min – King of Gods.
